MT6900 Series Euro mortise Lock
Installation Instructions
WARNING
The safety features of this product are essential to its compliance with
EN179:2008. No modification of any kind, other than those described in these
instructions is permitted.
Euro mortise lock manufactured in accordance with EN179:2008 will provide a high
degree of safety and reasonable security; provide they are fitted to doors and
frames of equal quality and in good condition. The door must be correctly hung and
free from binding.
This equipment must be installed by a competent fitter. If these fixing instructions are
not followed, then no responsibility for these fixing instructions must be passed to the
user after installation has been completed.
DOOR SIZE
MT6900 series is suitable for door up to 2500mm height and up to 1000mm width.
MAINTENANCE
It is recommended that the following routine maintenance check be undertaken at
intervals of not less than one month by the occupier or approved representative:
a. Inspect and operate the lock to ensure that all components are in a satisfactory
working condition.
b. Ensure that the keeper is free from obstruction.

DOOR PREPARATION 1. Door must be fitted and hung properly before proceeding. 2. Measure 1100MM from finished floor, mark a horizontal line on door and door edge. Strike installation Drill a Ø 28.4mm hole with 25mm depth and 135 High on the center of strike outline. Use the chisel to scrape out the door frame for 160.4mm high, 28mm width and 1.5mm deep. Drill Ф3.0mm with 15mm Depth of screw holes (top and bottom). Then insert the strike plate and tighten it with screws.
