Beijer Electronics always recommend that selection of the correct BFI drive is based upon the motor full load current at the incoming supply voltage.

Maximum 3% voltage variation between phase – phase voltages allowed. All Beijer BFI-P2 units have phase imbalance monitoring. A phase imbalance of > 3% will result in the drive tripping. For input supplies which have supply imbalance greater than 3% (typically the Indian sub- continent & parts of Asia Pacific including China) Beijer Electronics recommends the installation of input line reactors.

If the required motor current exceeds this level, it will be necessary to either:  Reduce the switching frequency selected.  Use a higher power rated drive and repeat the calculation to ensure sufficient output current is available. www.beijerelectronics.com Version 3.04 | Beijer BFI-P2 User Guide | 77...

This should only be carried out where necessary, for example in cases such as IT or ungrounded supplies, where the phase to ground voltage can exceed the phase to phase voltage.
