Fitting the bracket to the seat tube
1. The bracket part includes 2 screws, 2 metal
plates and 2 adapters. Mount these parts
at the correct height on the seat tube. If the
diameter of the tube is too small, use one
of the two-part plastic adapters. Place the
adapter between the child seat bracket and
the seat tube.
2. Fit the metal bow onto the child seat using
the metal plate, screws and nuts.
3. Tighten the screws and check that the child
seat is correctly and securely mounted.
Secure the child seat to the bicycle frame
with a retaining strap.
4. Insert the ends of the metal bow into the
bracket on the frame. Make sure they are
fitted correctly. Lock the metal bow into
place with the plastic ring.
5. Adjust the height of the child seat. It should
be 1.5 to 2 cm above the luggage carrier.
