Safety
• If you are unsure how hard you can exercise, consult your
doctor or coach before using this product.
• A rough value for your heart rate can be calculated by
subtracting your age from 220. If you are 40, your heart rate
would thus be 220 – 40 = 180.
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children)
suffering from physical or mental impairment. This product
should not be used by anyone who does not have the proper
experience or knowledge of the product unless they have been
instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for
their safety. Never let children play with the product.
• Never modify the product.
Product description
Chest strap which monitors your heart rate and sends data to
your smartphone. For use with various fitness apps. The strap is
watertight to a depth of 5 metres. Batteries: 1 × CR2032 (included).

Getting started
1. Moisten the electrodes on
the strap with ECG gel or water.
2. Attach the heart rate sensor to
the strap.
3. Pass the strap around your chest
just below the chest muscles,
and slot the hook into the loop on
the other end of the strap.
4. Adjust the strap length to fit tightly
but comfortably.
5. Make sure that the moistened
electrodes are firmly pressed against
your skin and that the heart rate
sensor is in the centre of your chest
with the logo the right way up.
Pairing
The chest strap sensor is compatible for Bluetooth pairing with
telephones which support Bluetooth 4.0. The receiving device/
telephone requires the installation of a heart rate monitoring
app such as Runtastic or Endomondo which is compatible with
a Bluetooth heart rate chest strap sensor.
Pair the heart rate sensor with your receiving device (mobile
phone) by activating the Bluetooth function on the receiving
device. Enter the app settings and select Pair with Heart Rate

Monitor or similar.

Replacing the battery
1. Remove the battery cover
by turning it anticlockwise
using a coin or similar.
2. Remove the old CR2032
battery and insert
a new one. Make sure
the positive terminal is
facing upwards. Make
sure the battery slots in
under the lip at the top of
the battery compartment.
3. Refit the battery cover.
4. Lock the cover by turning
it clockwise with a coin or
similar.
Care and maintenance
• Detach the sensor from the strap after every use, rinse
the strap under running water and allow to air-dry.
If necessary, use a mild soap and water solution.
• Wipe the sensor after each use with a soft cloth or towel.
Clean the sensor with a mild soap and water solution if
necessary. Never use abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.
• Store the product in a cool and dry environment.
• Remove the battery if the product is not to be used for
a long time.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local
regulations. If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your
local authority.
