1. Introduction

The unit offers excellent thermal stability and homogeneity at all temperature settings thanks to the "Auto Tuning" system. The refrigerated
thermostat's purpose-built software monitors the ambient temperature constantly and activates the heating and cooling systems according
to need. The internal temperature is measured by the internal probe and is shown on the display. The instrument is turned on using the
ON/OFF switch. Instruments placed inside the incubator are powered directly by two internal sockets controlled by a switch on the control
panel. In accordance with current regulations, VELP incubators are CFC-free (free from chloro fluoro carbons). FOC 200I and FOC 120I
have an internal transparent door allowing the operator to view the samples without causing internal temperature variations. The
FOC200IL is equipped with 2 lighted shelves each with six led bars mounted horizontally below the shelf, which illuminate the shelf below.
A dedicated timer for the internal lighting allows you to create several operating cycles, with automatic switch off and on.
Description of controls
All the controls are located on the control panel at the top of the unit.
Mains switch (1): When lit the instrument is running.
Internal sockets (2): When lit, the sockets are powered.
Display (3): Shows the internal temperature.
Up button (4): Increases the value of the temperature setting.
Down button (5): Decreases the value of the temperature setting.

(h) button: Hour setting (clock and timer)
(m) button: Minute setting (clock and timer)
(-X->) button: Skip. Inverts the operating mode selected, i.e. from ON to OFF and vice versa.
(R) button: Reset. Cancels present day time and program settings. Before programming for the first time Reset as follows:
- Position the sliding switch (7) on RUN

2. Assembly and installation

Do not install the equipment near sources of heat (ovens, etc.). The unit should be installed in a well-ventilated area, avoid niches or small
rooms. To ensure good air circulation within the unit, do not place objects against the inside back panel.
Upon receipt and after having removed the packaging, please check the integrity of the instrument. The box includes:

2.1 Electrical connection

Before connecting the instrument to the power supply, make sure that the values on the rating plate correspond to those of the power
supply. Connect the unit to the power supply using the power cord supplied.
Ensure that the socket and the relative cut-off device conform to current safety norms and easy to reach.

2.2 Start-up

Connect the unit to mains and turn it on using the on-off switch. The green led indicates that the instrument is On.
NOTE: if the instrument has been transported or stored horizontally, leave it in the upright position for 24 hours before plugging in and
switching on. This will allow the cooling circuit to settle. Failure to carry out this procedure may result in the refrigerating system being
damaged, such damage is not covered by warranty.

Settings 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, are "ON" settings, the (P) symbol will
appear on RH side of the display .
Settings 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 are "OFF" settings, the (P) symbol will
not be present on the display.
(1...7) button: Day of week setting (present day and daily ON/OFF
settings). A different program can be set for each day of the week or
according to the following scheme:
1..5 (Monday to Friday)
6..7 (Saturday and Sunday)
- Press the Reset button (R) using the tip of a pen/pencil.
