USING YOUR TOASTER

1. Insert regular bread slice into the bread slot, which can be inserted with two slices at
most each time.
NOTE! Make sure the crumb tray is fully in place before use.
2. Plug the power cord into the outlet.
3. Turn the colour control knob to your desired colour. There are 6 colour settings; the
lowest "1" is for light and the highest "6" is for dark. The bread slice can be toasted to
a golden colour on the middle position.
NOTE!
• The toasting colour for one slice is darker than for two
bread slices toasted on the same setting.
• If toasting continuously, toasting color for the latter bread is
darker than that for the anterior bread at the same level.
4. Press the lever down until it clicks into place. The Cancel indicator will be illuminated, and
the appliance will begin toasting at once.
NOTE! The lever will only remain down when the unit is plugged in.
5. Once the bread has been toasted to the preset colour, the lever will automatically pop up.
You can also lift the carriage handle slightly to make removing the bread easier.
NOTE! During toasting, you can also observe the toasting colour. If it is satisfactory, press
the Cancel button to cancel the operation at any time. Never lift the lever to cancel toasting.
6. If the bread has been taken out of the freezer: set the colour setting to your desired
colour. Press the lever down until it clicks into place, then press the DEFROST button.
The defrost indicator will be illuminated and your bread will be toasted to the desired
colour.
7. If you want to warm cold toasted bread, firstly press the REHEAT button. The Reheat
indicator button will be illuminated. Then lower the lever until it clicks into place. In
this mode the toasting time is fixed, so once the toast is ready, the carriage handle will
automatically pop up and end the reheating process.
