    It is what is called a Class B vehi- cle according to the European classification of electric wheelchairs. MC 1124, and any assistive product are designed for safe travel for at least 10 years, up to a max. of 5,000 hours, provided it is serviced and safety-checked every third year, corresponding to 1500 hours of op- eration.

    For safety reasons the vehicle must not be lent to persons who are not completely familiar with it. The vehicle is designed for one person only.     Medema Production A/S Mode Mode Description Displays the sections of the chair currently selected for movement. When Bluetooth Mode is entered the following screen will be displayed. When the control system requires a reboot, this symbol will be flashed. Waiting symbol. This symbol is displayed when the control system is changing between different states.

    Medema Production A/S Settings menu Set Time The menu is accessed by depressing the Speed Down and Speed Up buttons simultaneously (Pos 7 and 8 in the table Designations - buttons). A right joystick deflection will enter a clock adjustment screen in which further joystick deflections are used to set the time.

    Medema Production A/S Programming The electric control in the MC 1124 can be programmed so that it meets the typical customer’s needs. From the factory the vehicle is programmed in default configura- tion, so that smooth acceleration, proper braking and sensitivity are guaranteed.

    Medema Production A/S Maintenance MC 1124 is designed so that it requires very little care and maintenance. General care If you get food or drink, etc. on the control unit, you should wipe it with a damp cloth. You must only use a damp cloth to clean the MC 1124.
  • Page 34 NEVER use a high-pressure cleaner or hose. It may damage the MC 1124’s electronic system. During drying MC 1124 must stand on a flat surface. It should be indoors, preferably in a heated room. The temperature must not exceed 50°.

    Red indicates that the batteries need to be recharged as soon as possible, otherwise the wheelchair will cut out. The MC 1124’s batteries should be charged while not in use. This extends the service life of the batteries. The MC 1124 is supplied with sealed, maintenance-free bat- teries that do not normally generate gas and do not need to be topped up with water.

    Please note that the capacity of the batteries will reduce over time and at low temperatures. Battery capacity at -10°C is half that at +20°C. If the MC 1124 is not going to be used for an extended period, charging once a month will suffice. Note! The charger must NOT be placed on the seat during charging.
