Programming with GW 20471 control unit:
- Enter the programme menu on the control unit by digiting the code and pressing #
- Press OK to enter the "System Programming" menu
- Use the arrow-up key to select "Modify programme settings" and press OK.
- Use the arrow keys to select "Sirens" and press OK.
- Press OK to enter "Pres Siren and TX"
- At this point, if you press OK the red indicator will flash on the siren together with the front indicator light. Allow
them to flash for a few seconds then disconnect the coloured jumper situated next to the LED on the Siren
Board which interrupts the flashing and memorizes the command code received from the control unit.
- Press STOP the number of times necessary to exit the programming menu.
- To test the system it is possible to arm and disarm the control unit and observe the signal to the siren through
the front flashing indicator light.
- Disconnect the siren from the power with the Tamper protection OPEN, continue with the installation following
the instructions below.
WARNING: The siren command code is automatically generated by the control unit each time
it is subjected to total reset (return to Default). It is therefore necessary to remember that each
time it is reset to Default conditions, it is necessary to memorize the code again in the siren
following the above described procedure.

7. INSTALLATION

A = Only install the siren after you have completed all the programming operations indicated in the previous
chapter.
B = Check that the wall is perfectly level and that the Tamper protection switch tab is not near any holes, uneven
parts or cracks in the wall.
C = Use the supplied screws to fix the siren to the wall, connect the battery making sure you do not invert the
poles. Installing the siren and connecting it to the power, with the Tamper open, causes the device to go into
stand-by for around 2 minutes, and it is then re-armed when the Tamper microswitch is closed; this time is
enough to allow the installer to completely close the siren container.
D = Generate an alarm status on the control unit to test that it functions correctly.
