MAINTENANCE OF CLADDING MATERIALS
Most of the components in your Mobalpa suite can be cleaned with soap and water, using a well-wrung cloth.
Never use abrasive sponges or scouring creams, as these can permanently damage your new purchase.
• On persistent stains, use a slightly moist microfibre cloth with a glass cleaner, preferably alcohol-free, then dry immediately with
a dry cloth.
MAINTENANCE OF KITCHEN AND BATHROOM
WORKTOPS
Whatever materials they are made from, kitchen and bathroom worktops are designed to withstand household tasks, but they are
not indestructible. You must always avoid cutting bread or meat directly on the surface. It is essential to use a chopping board.
Every year, damage is caused by hot saucepans and dishes taken straight from the oven: the use of a heat-proof mat is essential
here too. Finally, do not allow water to stagnate in a corner of your worktop or around the sink, hob or bowl. This may lead to
mould growth, damaging the waterproof seals. Also avoid using an abrasive sponge on the worktop, cooking hob and sink seals,
or on bowls fitted flush with worktops.
Beware of anti-scale products. These can be highly corrosive and may alter the worktop surfaces or claddings, as well the sealing of
flush-fit sinks, if they are not immediately rinsed with clean water and wiped.
• Laminate / LUXE laminate
- Always use a pan-rest to avoid thermal shock (the bottom
of a saucepan can reach 370°C in 2 minutes)
- Use a slightly moist (wrung-out) sponge with soapy
water, then wipe with a dry cloth, a moist microfibre cloth
and a glass cleaner or Mobalpa's laminate rejuvenator
