Quick Setup Guide

Connect the unit to a TV or a vehicle monitor using the provided composite & USB cable

adapter. You only need to connect the USB Power (2) if you have no way of using the

cigarette lighter charger.

Power up the unit in one of two ways:

a) Connect the car charger to your car's cigarette lighter. And make sure your car is

giving power to the cigarette lighter.

Note: some cars will not have power to the cigarette lighter while off, if that's the

case, please ensure your car is on before continuing.

b) Alternatively you can power the unit by connecting the USB Power (2) cable to a

nearby USB port such as a computer, TV or an AC-USB adapter.

Ensure your TV/monitor output is set to "A/V", "Composite" or "Video" out. Look for a

"source" or "input" button on your TV remote. When you have properly connected the

cables with the correct video source from the TV, you will see a live video feed from the

camera on your TV or car monitor screen.

Page 2 As soon as the camera gets power, it will start recording automatically if the memory card is installed. Look for a pulsating red circle on the top left corner of the screen. This would indicate that it is recording. If so, use the included remote to stop the recording by pressing the record button.
