Page 5: System Operation
The basic system will include 3dBi Omni vertically polarized antenna for the transmitter and down converters; a range of alternative antennas can be supplied to meet different operational requirements. These will provide the basic operation of the Link HD system although other configurations are possible including diversity operation; Triax interconnection etc. - Page 6 Link HD System Manual The only connections to the L1403 HD Transmitter unit are HD SDI video, analogue audio and if required an RS232 data link. Power is supplied either via the attached battery plate or external LEMO connector. The power switch on the base of the L1403 is provided to switch the L1403 / L1420 when power is supplied from the rear battery plate.
