PUTTING INTO OPERATION:
Make sure the pump is correctly fl ooded, the hydraulic connections are tight. Care-
fully vent the heating system; make sure the pump shaft is not jammed before start-
ing the pump – fi g. a. During this operation pump should be set at III speed.

WARNING: Be careful of scalding risk while venting the heating system!
Suggested pump setup depends on type of installation, see below.
Factory setting = AUTO
Automatic NIGHT MODE
WARNINGS: Do not set the pump to NIGHT MODE when it is installed at return piping
!
or when the system water capacity is very low.
NOTICE: automatic NIGHT MODE does not work effi ciently when pump is set up for
manual speed (I, II or III)
NOTICE: after mains failure automatic NIGHT MODE should re-engage once the
power is back.
NOTICE: when pump fl ow or head becomes too low for current demands from heat-
ing system please disengage the NIGHT MODE.
NOTICE: never run the pump empty (without water). Do not use the pump for venting
whole or part of piping.
NOTICE: detailed description of available pump settings are listed below hydraulic
characteristics.
