Installing Batteries
Your safe requires 3 AA batteries. For best
performance we recommend the use of alkaline
batteries.
1. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw from
the battery compartment cover. Remove the cover.
2. Insert the batteries in the compartment as indicated
by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked inside.
3. Replace the cover and tighten the screw. When the
safe stops operating properly, replace the batteries.
Battery Precautions
1. Alkaline batteries recommended.
2. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
3. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
4. New and used batteries should not to be mixed.
5. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type are to be used.
6. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy.
7. Dispose of exhausted batteries safely, and never dispose of batteries in fire.
8. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
9. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
Opening the Safe for the First Time
Your safe has been set with a generic four digit code, which is 0000. Follow the procedures below to
open the safe.
1. Press the CODE button, the safe will say "Password Please."
2. Enter the preset code 0000.
3. Once the code is accepted the OPEN light will flash for 5 seconds and the safe will say "Password is
correct."
4. When the open light has stopped flashing, rotate the knob clockwise and pull to open the door. The
door will open with a creaking sound.
