As a paleontologist, you scan the terrain. A glint of white catches your eye. You bend down
to see a piece of bone and tooth fragments. This looks like a good spot to excavate!

1 Dinosaur Dig clay rock
1 Pair of excavation glasses
1 Mallet

1 Dinosaur collector card
Safety
• Adult assistance and supervision recommended.
• Do not place dig material in mouth.
• Wear goggles for preventing dust entering eyes
during digging.
• Do not inhale dust or powder.
• Do not pour excavation material down the sink,
it will clog the drain.
Setup
1. Wear clothes than can get messy.
2. Cover work surface or excavate outside
for easier clean up.
3. Work on a solid, level,
working surface.
4. Carefully remove
all protective
wrapping.

Digging instructions
1. Chisel away at the dig material and dig with care
when you locate a part of a dinosaur skeleton.
2. When you reveal a piece of bone, dig completely
around it to avoid damage to the part. Use the
excavation brush to dust o the loose material.
3. Clean o each dinosaur bone segment carefully
with a damp cloth.
4. Refer to the diagram and use your skill to carefully
assemble your bones and reconstruct an amazing
dinosaur skeleton.
