  • Page 8 MANUAL User can install the HDD into DVR, but, since there are many parts and factors inside the product, it requires special care in case of wiring and connections. Otherwise it may cause electric shock, troubles, faults on the product and etc. Further improper HDD installation may generate HDD detection problem or improper operation, so it is advisable initial HDD or additional HDD installation work should be handled by authorized engineer from the agent where the product was purchased.

  • Page 29 MANUAL Auto sequencing is the sequential screen display for the effective monitoring. Press the SEQ button to use. Auto loss skip: It is setup for the skipping channel if there is the no camera input. Sequence Mode: It is setup whether to show the channel as a sequence mode. ㆍFull: It shows the full screen sequentially.
  • Page 30 MANUAL The SPOT function enables to display a specific or, the entire channel in sequence on a separate monitor. It is possible to set the channel hang on time as well. By using two different monitors, one for the live and the other as a SPOT, specific or the full channel can be displayed in sequence.
  • Page 31 MANUAL The menu provides user to setup camera title, screen display adjustment, PTZ camera. CAMERA This is the setup for camera name. If you click the channel from the picture A, the virtual keyboard will be displayed to enter the name as per the picture B. Use the direction key to enter the name.
  • Page 32 MANUAL There are many different kinds of cameras and the image varies such as bright or dark. To see the most desirable camera images, you can setup the color configuration here. To compensate the color, select the channel as per the picture A. The control window is displayed on the image B of the currently selected channel to adjust the color.

    MANUAL The PTZ camera can be controlled by this system without any extra equipment. RS-485 communication is used for PTZ camera control and ID is given for parallel connection. It is easy to set up this system and control the PTZ by seeing its movement through the monitor. For multi connection of Pan/Tilt camera, please refer to the following diagram.

    MANUAL It is the setup for record resolution and frame rate of each channel. Since the resolution and picture quality are different by the setting, so configuration should be set with care. RECORD PICTURE SIZE Picture size: It sets the video resolution. The frame rate depends on the resolution as higher resolution lead lower frame rate and lower resolution setup enable higher the frame rate selection.
  • Page 36 MANUAL PRERECORDING It is for the prerecording setup. If this function is not used, the event recording has no meaning. If the object has already passed but the recording started after, we cannot distinguish(analyze) the situation correctly. Therefore, the system should have the image before the incident happen as an evidence. - FORVR 450 has the recorded video image before 5seconds but, it depends on the resolution and frame rate.

  • Page 38 MANUAL To configure motion detection area, sensor, alarm and etc. ALARM This is the representative function of DVR system. It records for a specific time only when it detects the motion. Also the sensitive can be selected, so it can record motion from sensitive motion to the large movements through control.

  • Page 40 MANUAL ‘EVENT’ menu sets alarm, sensor and motion, which is the advanced feature not part of the general CCTV features. When setting the recording by event, the mass storage device may not be necessary. If the user uses this feature well, the DVR feature can be also maximized with the low capacity storage device only.
