LUBRICATION ENGINE LUBRICATION Engine Oil Selection Astec Engine Oil is recommended for use in your engine. Astec Engine Oil will lubricate your engine correctly under all operating conditions If Astec Multi-Viscosity is not available, use only oil meeting API engine oil service category SF OR SG.

ELECTRICAL BATTERY Battery Connections Before you service a battery, WARNING: always wear face protection, protective gloves and protective clothing. Battery acid or battery explosion can cause serious injuries. Battery acid causes severe burns. WARNING: Batteries contain sulfuric acid. Avoid contact with skin, eyes or clothing.

Follow the instructions on the container. This cleaner does not need water. 2. Use baking soda or ammonia and flush the outside of the battery with water. If you do not have Astec Battery Saver, use other special cleaners to prevent corrosion on the battery terminals.
