ies, note the correct polarity (+/–).
❐ Take the batteries out of the device when they are
discharged or if the device is not going to be used for
a prolonged period. This will prevent any damage that
might occur if a battery leaks.
❐ Should a battery have leaked, do not allow your skin,
eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact
with the battery acid. If you touch battery acid, rinse
the affected sites with abundant fresh water immedi-
ately and contact a doctor as soon as possible.
❐ Remove a dead battery from the device immediately.
Clean the contacts before you insert a new battery.
❐ The batteries must not be recharged or reactivated by
other means, dismantled, thrown into a fi re, immersed
in fl uids, or short-circuited.
The Proper Handling of the Device
❐ Always switch the device to off when it is not in use or
you wish to clean it.
❐ Do not use the device out in the open air.
❐ Do not use the device when bathing or showering.
The device is not waterproof or protected against
splashing.
❐ Ensure that the device is stored out of the reach of
water.
❐ The device is not suitable for wet shaving.
❐ In the event of damage/faults, switch the device off
immediately.
