❐ Since the hair is removed at the root, hairs could
become ingrown and cause skin irritations. A regu-
lar skin massage using a massage glove or loofah
sponge can help to reduce the incidence of ingrown
hairs.
❐ A slight reddening of the skin after epilation is normal,
but if a skin irritation lasts for longer than three days,
consult your doctor immediately.
❐ If you have a pacemaker or belong to another risk
group, you absolutely must consult your doctor before
using the device.
❐ Your skin might become infected due to penetrating
bacteria. Cleaning the epilating head before and after
each use with rubbing alcohol can minimise the risk
of infection.
❐ To prevent accidents, keep the device away from
head hair, eyelashes, eyebrows, textiles (e.g. cloth-
ing, curtains, etc.), cables, shoe laces, etc. Do not
touch the tweezers with your fi ngers while the device
is being used!
❐ During hair removal, the affected area of skin must
be held taut. Otherwise it could become caught in the
device, which could lead to pain and injuries.
❐ Do not use the device on injured, infected, or loose
skin or in the direct vicinity of acne, moles, or varicose
veins. Do not use it if you suffer from haemophilia,
diabetes, an immunodefi ciency disorder or rosacea.
❐ Do not use the device if your skin has allergic or sen-
sitive reactions when it comes into contact with cos-
metics, metals, or textiles.
