ADJUSTING THE CHAIN TENSION 11.Hold up the end of the guide bar and tighten the bar nuts with the combination wrench. CAUTION: The chain must be tensioned whenever the flats on the drive links hang out of the bar groove. Check for proper chain tension before starting the unit and periodically during operation. -
