Connecting a Home Theater System

Using RCA

1. Turn off the power to your HDTV and home theater.
2. Connect an audio cable (white and red connectors) to the audio
connectors on the home theater and connect the other end to the L
and R AUDIO OUT jacks on your HDTV.
3. Turn on the power to your HDTV and home theater.
4. Press MENU. The HDTV Settings App. opens.
5. Press ◄, ►, ▲, or ▼ to select HDTV Settings, and then press
SELECT.
6. Press ▼ to select Audio, and then press SELECT.
7. Press ▼ to select TV Speakers, and then press SELECT.
8. Press ► to select OFF so the sound from your HDTV will be routed
through your home theater system.
9. Adjust other audio settings in the menu as desired.
10. Press EXIT to close the HDTV Settings App.
11. Program your home theater to work with your VIZIO remote control.

your remote.

Refer to your home theater user manual to select the corresponding audio input.
•
The audio output is not amplified and cannot be connected directly to external speakers.
