6. Getting Started • Installing Camera Batteries: 1. Slide open the battery compartment cover. 2. Insert batteries. Be sure to load batteries with + and – terminals as shown on the camera. 3. Slide close the battery compartment cover. • Inserting SD Card (Optional): The VQ5020 offers two options for storing pictures and videos: Internal Memory - Store pictures and videos in the 16 MB internal memory.
Note: 1. If the SD card is present in the camera, and then the picture/ video will save in the SD card. If no card is installed, the camera uses internal memory. 2. If the “MEMORY FULL” warning message appears on the TFT, it means the SD card or internal memory is full.

Q1: If I do not use batteries, can I use an USB cord and Adaptor and still take pictures with my VQ5020? A1: No, when taking pictures, it is important that you use batteries. Also, you have to remember to charge the batteries before operating your camera. Q2: I am not very familiar with VQ5020 and usually my pictures turn out blurred.
