STEP 2 For each device you want to connect to the switch, insert one end of an Ethernet/ fiber cable into the port in the device and other end into the switch’s port.

Give your system IP as 192.168.1.x where x is any integer from 1 to 254 except 1. iNote: If the IP address of GS2400 is 192.168.1.1 then the IP address of the system should be other than 192.168.1.1.

GS2400 NETWORKS 4. Quick Troubleshooting PROBLEM PROBABLE REASON RESOLUTION The PWR LED is ‘Off’. The switch has no power. • Make sure that power cord is properly connected to the switch. • Make sure that the power adaptor is properly connected to the functioning power outlet.
