PRECAUTIONS DURING THE OZONE PROCESS

1. The permissible ozone concentration in rooms, safe for
people is 0.1ppm (200g / m3). Odor of ozone however, it is felt
in much lower
concentrations, even at 1/5 or even 1/10 acceptable safe
concentration (0.02 ppm).
2. Staying in a room with an ozone concentration of over 200g /
m3 is hazardous to health. There must be no people or animals
in the ozonated room, and if necessary, the residence time
should be kept to a minimum and protective clothing and masks
with a carbon insert should be used.
3. Ozone accelerates the combustion process, and in its presence
the ammability of materials is 2-3 times higher than in oxygen
case. For this reason, the device cannot be used in the vicinity of
sources of re or in easily ammable or an explosive atmosphere. It
should also not be cleaned with ammable solvents or chemical
reagents, which could cause a re or an electric breakdown.
4. Smoking is prohibited in the ozonated room, work with open
re, work with tools, that cause a ame or spark, working with oils
and greases or leaving objects dirty oil or grease.
5. Inhalation of ozone in high concentrations may cause
