INSTALL BATTERIES INTO THE CONTROLLER: 1. Remove the screw on the battery cover and remove the battery cover. 2. Add 4 x AA size batteries (not included) according to the correct polarity. 3. Add the battery cover and screw down the screw to hold it in place. INSTALLATION OF THE PHONE HOLDER: Installation of the phone holder Removal of the phone holder Push in the phone holder along the sliding chute on the rear of the controller. The phone holder is correctly in place when you hear a slight ‘click’. Lock in the screw with a screwdriver. To remove the phone holder, remove the screw with a screwdriver. Press the round button located just under the sliding chute on the rear of the controller. While pressing the button down, pull the phone holder upwards out of the sliding chute. The position of the phone holder can be adjusted through three parts of the phone holder. ...

INSTALLATION OF THE PROTECTIVE RINGS: Remove the protective rings and corresponding screws from the accessories package. Align the screw position on the protective ring onto the ‘arm’ of the drone. Clip the protective ring into the ‘arm’ of the drone. Use an anchor screw and the screwdriver to screw the protective ring in place. To remove the protective ring from the drone, use the screwdriver to undo the screw, then hold the protective ring close to the ‘arm’ of the drone. Pull the protective ring off the ‘arm’ of the drone in a gentle upwards motion. CHARGING OF THE LITHIUM BATTERY: The battery pack may need charging before flying. A full charge of the battery can take 150 – 180 minutes. The flight time on a fully charged battery is up to 15 minutes. To charge the battery: Remove the battery from the drone by pushing down on the release points on the battery. Connect the charge lead to the charging port on the battery. Connect the USB end to a USB charging point. While the battery is charging, the light on the battery will show red lights indicating the charge level of the battery. When the battery has completed charging, the 3 red lights on the battery will remain on (still). When charging is complete, disconnect the charge lead from the battery. Put the battery into the drone. *If the drone will not be used for a long time, please maintain 50% of charge in the battery, so as to lengthen the service life of the battery. To maintain 50% charge, it only needs to be charged for 90 minutes. ...
CAUTIONS WHEN CHARGING: 1. When charging the drone, ensure it is in a dry, well ventilated area away from any heat sources and explosive items. 2. When charging, remove the battery from the drone. 3. After flying, please do not charge the battery if the surface temperature of the drone is warm. 4. Do not re‐charge the battery if the battery appears to look swollen. 5. Ensure that the original USB charge lead provided is used for recharging. 6. A battery which has not been used for a long time will lose it’s charge automatically. 7. Charging or discharging too often may reduce the use of the battery. FLYING THE DRONE (INDOOR USE OR WITH NO GPS CONNECTION): 1. Ensure the battery is fully charged and the remote controller has batteries installed in it with an adequate amount of charge. 2. Power the drone on, by holding the power button for 5 seconds. The lights on the drone will begin to flash, indicating that the drone is ready to be paired. 3. Power on the controller by moving the on switch up to the on position. 4. Pair the drone and the controller by moving the left joystick upwards to the 12 o’clock position and then downwards to the 6 o’clock position. The lights on the drone will not be flashing and remain on. The rear light on the right hand side of the drone will remain blinking (can not receive GPS signal), this is normal in this mode. 5. To start flying, move both the left hand and right hand side joystick at the same time. Move the left hand side joystick to the 5 o’clock position and the right hand side joystick to the 7 o’clock position at the same time. 6. When the blades on the drone have started spinning, move the left hand joystick up to begin flight. The one key take off will not work to start flight when using the controller on it’s own. 7. CALIBRATING THE DRONE: **Ensure pairing the drone with the app is done outdoors to achieve great GPS signal, if your location can not receive GPS signal, please re‐locate to a better position which can. Do not pair indoors and away from sources which can cause interference to the GPS, eg: electricity towers, electricity sources with high voltage.** 1. Press ENTER on the opening screen on the app. A message will have shown on the screen “Whether the aircraft magnetomer is calibrated or not, yes or no. Press no. The next message on the screen will show “Prepare for geomagnetic calibration”. 8. The rear lights on the drone will be flashing quickly when it is in geomagnetic calibration mode. 9. Put the drone on a flat surface. The rear righthand side light will flash slowly. This is due to the drone searching for GPS signal. GPS searching for the first time can be slow, please wait for it to complete. When it has completed GPS searching, the rear righthand side light will stop flashing and remain on. RETURN TO HOME: This function will only work with the app open GPS MODE. (Please see the section “CALIBRATING THE DRONE”). Activating return to home function without calibrating the drone may result in the drone flying away. While the drone is in flight: Press the one key return button on the controller. The drone will turn to face the place where it took off, fly higher and then return automatically. ADJUSTABLE CAMERA ANGLES: The camera angle is adjustable to a maximum of 70 degrees upwards or downwards. Press the “camera + “button on the controller. The camera will be tilted up. Press the “camera ‐” button on the controller. The camera will be tilted down. Either button can be pressed and held to adjust the camera angle. PICTURE/VIDEO: Photos and videos can be taken by using the app or the controller. To take photos using the controller: Press the photo/video button on the controller once, the green indicator 1 light on the controller will come on the controller will beep. The photo will be saved in the app. To take videos using the controller: Press and hold the photo/video button on the controller for two seconds. EMERGENCY STOP: To avoid an accident, you can use the emergency stop button. If the drone is in GPS mode flying or Non GPS mode flying, the emergency stop function is only workable when the drone is lower than 2 meters. To activate emergency landing, press the emergency stop button on controller or you can move the left hand side joystick to the 5 o’clock position and the right hand side joystick to the 7 o’clock position at the same time.
