There are two possibilities to update the Ecostar. The following steps describes how to make a successful update. Possibility 1 Step1: Preparing the USB stick Download the actual version from the homepage e.g. “Ecostar 6000 VXX.XX.zip”. Unpack this file and copy the four files on an empty USB stick: Bios.inf Ecostar.bin EEPROM.BAK... -

Step 4: Plug in the power supply After connecting the power supply the Ecostar6000 checks if there is an USB stick connected. If the USB stick is recognized, a special update melody comes up and the controller starts to update the software. -

There is a second possibility to update the Ecostar if the update was not successful. Possibility 2 Step1: Preparing the USB stick Download the actual version from the homepage e.g. “Ecostar 6000 VXX.XX.zip”. Unpack this file and copy the four files on an empty USB stick: Bios.inf Ecostar.bin EEPROM.BAK... -
