Malfunctions
The device alerts users about a malfunction using visual and acoustic signals (e.g.
alarm). The malfunction can also be viewed in the hansgrohe home app and via
push notification on your smartphone.

Cause
- The maximum permitted water volume has been
exceeded. Volume leakage may have occurred.
- The maximum permitted time has been exceeded.
Time leakage may have occurred.
- The maximum permitted flow has been exceeded.
Flow leakage may have occurred or a water pipe
may have burst.
- The maximum permitted micro-leakage volume has
been exceeded. There may be a micro-leakage, e.g.
in the WC flush.
- A connected Pontos Scout is reporting a leakage.
- The stop valve cannot be activated. This may be
caused by dirt in the stop valve or a fault in the motor
or position sensor. Caution: limited leakage protec-
tion!
- No signals from the turbine have been recorded over
a long period of time. This may be caused by dirt or
a fault in the turbine or a faulty sensor. Caution:
limited leakage protection!
- The pressure sensor is not reporting any information.
- The temperature sensor is not reporting any informa-
tion.
- The conductivity sensor is not reporting any informa-
tion.
- The battery is missing or flat.
- The mains adapter is not plugged in or is not supplied
with power. The device is in battery mode.
- There is no connection to the network.
- The device has been installed against the flow.
Remedy
- Please fix the leakage or adjust the limit value.
