Cleaning the Filter

If the pump filter is not regularly
cleaned, then this may adversely affect
the performance of the machine.
Cleaning the pump filter
This filter collects bits of fluff and small
objects, e.g. detached buttons that have
fallen into the container.
To clean, proceed as follows:
• Open the drum lids.
On the floor of the drum, there is a laundry
agitator (Figure 12) .

Unfasten this part (Figure 13) .
For this purpose:

• Insert a dowel (for example, a pencil or
a screwdriver) in the hole in part
• Press this dowel downwards and
simultaneously slide part
right until it releases .
• Remove part .

• Gently turn the drum with the open lids to
front side of the machine (Figure 14) .

• Remove pump filter
(Figure 14) .
• Remove foreign objects and fluff.
• Clean filter under running water
(Figure 15) .

• Press filter back into its holder up to the
stop.
• Reinstall laundry agitator
