FRONT PANEL Standby button Standby mode. Play/Select The Play/Select button is a skip-wheel which allows you to skip left |<< and skip right >>| by turning the wheel in either direction. • The button in the center works in exactly the same way as the Play/Pause button. During play mode, it toggles between Play and Pause. -

Control connector The RS232 communication connectors are for communication to a PC or remote control from Steinway Lyngdorf equipment with broadcast commands or linked control between other components. -

Switch “Link termination“ to on if the CDP-1 is the last Steinway Lyngdorf product in the chain. If inserting the CDP-1 at the end of a chain of amplifiers, make sure to switch off the amplifier´s dipp switch link termination. To do this, toggle the number 8 switch from on to off. -

• 192 kHz / 24 bit Display Timeout The timeout can be set to on or off. On is a 10 second display timeout. Carefully remove the unit and accessory kit from the carton, and visually check for shipping damage. Contact both the shipper and your Steinway Lyngdorf representative immediately if the unit bears any sign of damage from mishandling. All Steinway Lyngdorf equipment is carefully inspected before leaving our factory. -

OPERATE mode, Playing CD Mains Connector Mains voltage to the CDP-1 is applied via an IEC320 type connector. The supplied cable with safety ground should be used to connect the CDP-1 to a mains outlet. Connect the power input only to the AC source printed on the label and the setting shown on the voltage selector switch.
