    Figure 1: Package content 2 Intended Use The MFT920 serves as a vehicle terminal, specifically designed for use in vehicles such as forklifts or order pickers. Do not use the system in geographical areas where explosives may be used. Observe the local regulatory requirements for wireless devices.

    3 Handling of the Device Read all instructions first before using the MFT920! Do not drink any alcohol or take any drugs while using the MFT920 and follow the saftey instructions carefully! Only original ACD power packs or the ACD power supply cable may be used for operating the MFT920.

    Voltage may occur on the inside of the device, which may lead to severe or even fatal injuries when touching live parts or handling the device in an improper manner. It may also lead to severe material damage. The device may only be opened by trained specialists, and only ATTENTION after consulting with ACD.

    3.1.2 Switching off To shut down the device, you may either use the software or press a customised key (default setting: ACD key) for 5 seconds (default setting). If the device is in standby mode, this is indicated by flashing of the green LED.

    Because it is possible that there is a short circuit at the power supply plug or the power supply cable, the MFT920 must be protected externally at the machine end. The appropriate value is on the rating plate in the cable entrance area of the device.

    3.3 Emergency Supply The MFT920 is equipped with an internal voltage stabiliser which continues to supply the device with voltage in the event of sporadic voltage drops of less than 3 seconds.

    4 Cleaning and Maintenance Information Clean the device with a soft cloth when dirty. Always disconnect the device from the voltage supply before cleaning! Do not use any corrosive chemicals, cleaning solutions or strong cleaning agents in order to clean the device. ATTENTION All components must be disposed of properly at the end of their technical lifetime.
