The Support Arm

The support arm is fixed to the top of the mast on the base unit and consists
of a horizontal beam (55 cm) connected to a counterbalanced spring arm (91
cm).

Range of Movements

The full range of movements is detailed in the Xstrahl 100 Technical
Description.
The Xstrahl 100 base unit is not designed to be relocated between patients.
The design enables the unit to be moved to a suitable location within the
treatment room for a clinical session.
Once the machine has been moved into position, the transit wheels can be
removed and the system positioned on the four permanent feet. At the end of
the clinical session, the wheels can be reinstalled and the base unit moved
back into its storage position.
