The circuit diagram
In order to understand how a circuit
works, you need a circuit diagram. It uses
symbols to represent the individual
components and shows how they are
connected to one another.
You can check the meanings of the
symbols by taking a look at the section
with the component descriptions. This
kind of schematic circuit diagram is much
easier and quicker to draw than a
complete circuit board illustration. For
each experiment, you will find both a
pictorial illustration as well as its
corresponding circuit diagram.
As an example, this is the circuit diagram
for a battery tester (Experiment 18).
