EQUIPMENT CARE

Never use the festoon or inspection lamp for
anything other than its intended purpose. If it will
not do what you want, assume you have the wrong
equipment for the job. Contact your local HSS Hire Shop
for advice.
Never expose the equipment to excessive
moisture, dust or dangerous/corrosive chemicals.
Keep the equipment clean. You will find this less of a
chore if you clean it regularly, rather than wait until the
end of the hire period.
Handle the equipment with care, even site lighting
contains delicate bulbs and will be damaged by
rough treatment.
Always switch OFF and unplug the festoon or
inspection lamp before making any alterations or
adjustments to it.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere
clean, dry and safe from thieves.

FINISHING OFF

Having switched off and unplugged the festoon or
inspection lamp, wait for it to cool before packing
ready for return.
Finally, neatly coil the flex ready for return to your
local HSS Hire Shop.
