you want, assume you have the wrong equipment
for the job. Contact your local HSS Safe and Sure Depot
for advice.
Never expose the equipment, power cables or air
hoses to excessive moisture, dust or dangerous/
corrosive chemicals.
Keep the equipment clean. You will find this less of a
chore if you clean it regularly, rather than wait until the
end of the hire period.
To clean the equipment, only use a damp cloth,
this will reduce the risk of static discharge. Do not
use detergents or chemicals, contact your local HSS
Safe and Sure Depot for advice.
Handle the equipment with care, this type of
lighting contains delicate bulbs that can be
damaged by rough treatment.
Always switch OFF and disconnect the equipment
from its power source before making any
alterations or adjustments to it.
When not in use, store the equipment somewhere
clean, dry and safe from thieves and unauthorised
users.
FINISHING OFF
Cleaning
The operator has a duty of care to ensure the
equipment is returned clean of any potentially
harmful contaminants. Equipment that has not
been cleaned will not be accepted back by HSS.
Air Operated Light...
Switch OFF the compressor and wait for the light
to go out and until all the stored air has been
released, then disconnect the air hose.
Detach the light from the tripod then neatly coil
the air hose and collect all parts together.
Electrically Operated Light...0845 728 2828
Switched OFF the power supply and unplug each
light, then neatly coil its power supply cable.
Whichever you are using...
Give the unit a final clean, ready for return to your
local HSS Safe and Sure Depot.
