  • Page 9 Reassembly Install Back Plate 1. Apply Loctite® 587™ Ultra Blue or equivalent to screws. 2. Replace back plate and hold in position. 3. Secure with screws and washers. 4. Torque back plate screws to 17.6-20.3 N·m (13-15 ft. lbs.). Install Mechanical Seal NOTE: Drops of liquid detergent on shaft will help install mechanical seal.
