Pump Service Kit - P/Ns 1050729 (7.8 cc), 1067875 (7.8 cc PA), 1086938 (7.8 cc machined), 1050728 (4.9 cc),
or 1069146 (4.9 cc PA)
This instruction sheet describes the replacement of the pump assembly
in a DuraBluet adhesive melter. Kit P/Ns 1067875 and 1069146 contain
high-temperature, chemical resistant O-rings (referred to in this
instruction sheet as PA).
Remove the Drive Assembly

Note:
Retrofit kit P/N 1064357 is required
when replacing the pump assembly on a
melter that has a sheet metal-type drive
assembly bracket (shown to the right).

Remove the right-side coupling cover.
7.
Remove the RTD and the heater from
the pump body. Save the screws, washer,
and, if applicable, the RTD retaining clip.
Note:
On some melters, a retaining clip
is not present because the RTD is housed
in a slot between the pump housing and the
manifold.

Remove the four M8 pump screws
and matching washers that attach the pump

to the bottom of the tank.
Note:
When reassembling the drive
assembly to the tank, tighten the M8 pump
screws to 16.3–17.6 N•m (12–13 ft-lb.).
Required Tools:
Phillips-head screwdriver
10- and 13-mm wrenches
3- and 4-mm hex keys
