BIDI optical transceiver modules use different central wavelengths in transmit and receive
directions to implement bidirectional transmission of fiber signals over the same fiber.
You must use the HPE X122 1G SFP LC BX 10-D Transceiver (J9142B) and HPE X122 1G SFP
LC BX 10-U Transceiver (J9143B) in pairs: a J9142B (-D = downlink) at one end of the
connection and a J9143B (-U = uplink) at the other.
The J9142B/J9143B were End of Sale in April 2016 and are no longer available. Contact your
Aruba Sales team for alternative solutions. The information presented here is for compatibility
