Connect the adapter:
1. Remove the radio (you will find various instructions on the Internet).
2. Before disconnecting the plugs from the radio, make sure that the radio code is available to
you, as you will need it for the radio after the power interruption.
3. Insert the yellow extensor of the adapter into chamber C1 (marked C1 in the picture).
4. If necessary, remove the yellow plug from the yellow-green-blue plug combination and
attach the yellow plug of the WM-BT16 there instead.
5. If necessary, remove the yellow plug from the yellow-green-blue plug combination and
attach the yellow plug of the WM-BT16 there instead.
6. Now connect the black ground cable to the radio housing or the black cable directly to a
ground cable to the radio connection (usually a thick brown cable). Without a good ground
connection the function of the adapter is not given.
7. Now connect the red cable (ignition plus +12V) to a switched +12V line. As this is usually
no longer present behind the radio, the voltage can be taken from the cigarette lighter or
the air conditioner (measurement with multimeter necessary). Ignition on = +12V on /
ignition off = 0V on.
8. Position the microphone near the driver in the vehicle (steering wheel fairing, dashboard, etc.).
The cable is then routed to the Bluetooth adapter and connected to the microphone input.
Avoid placing the microphone in the immediate vicinity of or on airbags.
9. Establish a Bluetooth connection by enabling Bluetooth pairing and searching for the
Bluetooth device ``WM´´ . You should then set the volume on the connected device to full
volume.
10. Before reinstalling the radio, test the function of the adapter. Switch on the AUX function
with the CD/Mode button.
