This wireless charger is Qi-certified and is compatible with
Qi-enabled rechargeable devices such as smartphones.
WHAT IS QI?
Qi (pronounced 'chee') is a widely-used wireless charging standard
developed by the Wireless Power Consortium. Qi-certified devices
ensure a safe, reliable wireless charging experience. It is already being
incorporated into products from major smartphone companies, as
well as wireless chargers in public charging stations, desktop chargers
(such as your new AE-AUWC2S2U) and in-car charging.
From the WPC website:
Products using the Qi standard must be tested rigorously to help
ensure safety, interoperability and energy efficiency. Only products
that have passed these independent laboratory tests can use the Qi
logo and are considered "Qi Certified."
Be cautious of claims of "Qi compliant," "Qi compatible" or "Works
with Qi," as these may indicate a product has not undergone Qi
certification testing.
