The refrigerator
compartment
Temperature can be selected from +3 °C
to +8 °C. We recommend a temperature
of +4 °C.
Use the refrigerator
compartment
For storing cakes and pastries, ready
meals, preserved foods, condensed milk,
hard cheese, fruit and vegetables
sensitive to the cold: tropical fruits such as
mandarins, bananas, pineapples, melons,
avocados, papayas, passion fruit,
aubergines (and for ripening fruit),
tomatoes, cucumbers, green tomatoes
and potatoes.

Super cooling

Super cooling cools the refrigerator
compartment as cold as possible for
approx. 6 hours. Then the temperature
set before super mode is automatically
restored.
Switch on super mode, e. g.:
S Before placing large quantities of food
in the refrigerator compartment.
S to cool drinks quickly.

The fridge

The temperature in the fridge is about
0 °C. The low temperature and high
humidity (in the fresh product drawer)
provide optimal storage conditions for
fresh food.
In the cool fresh space all food is safely
stored and kept fresh for three times as
long.
Humidity drawer
The humidity drawer, Fig. 1/10 is
covered by a special filter which allows
the air to pass through but retains the
humidity. As a result, there is up to 90 %
air humidity in the humidity drawer depen
ding on the load; ideal conditions for
everything grown in the garden and field
such as lettuce, vegetables, fruit, mush
rooms and herbs.
All other food products, e.g. fish, seafood,
meat, sausage and cheese can be stored
as long as there is space.
The following are suitable
for fresh storage:
In the fresh food drawer:
Fig. 1/7 and 8
Ready meals, meat, poultry, cheese,
seafood, dairy products (open, started or
products to be kept fresher longer), ham,
sausage.
