1.0 Installation Instructions: The PWRM21 and PWRM24 receivers should be mounted in a location that is convenient to the control box and is securely attached to the equipment. The PWRM21 receiver measures 7.37” L x 3.37” W x 7.10” D and is mounted by drilling one 5/16” (8mm) hole and the PWRM24 receiver measures 10”... -

4. Put 2 AA alkaline batteries into each transmitter. For PWRM212 button models, remove the 4 screws on the back of the transmitter. Insert the batteries as indicated inside the unit. Replace the screws. For the PWRM214, PWRM216, PWRM246, PWRM248, and PWRM2410 button units, remove the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit by unscrewing the thumb-screw. - Page 9 3. Following are a list of safety rules that must be followed when working with DRIVECON products, as well as cranes and industrial equipment in general. This list is not intended to be all- inclusive. - Page 11 The safety key should be removed from the transmitter whenever it is not in use and should only be issued to authorized personnel. All DRIVECON Radio Remote Controls are tested before they leave the factory. However, they should not be used in dangerous situations or in a manner such that damage might result.

PWRM24 models each COM wire is completely isolated from the others as well as the power wires. In most cranes, the COM wires will be connected to the X1 supply. If you have any problems or questions not covered above, please call DRIVECON at 1-800-374- 8266. -

5.0 Programming options: 5.1 All units: Auto-shut-down time. An auto-shut-down feature is available on all models. If the radio has not been used for a period of time the receiver automatically drops out the main line contactor. The default setting is 1 hour for the PWRM24 Series and “Never” for the PWRM21 Series. - Page 14 5.4 Other Programming options for the PWRM24 UP/DOWN 2 Step Buttons: Dual Motor. When the first detent of the button is reached the first step relay turns ON, when the button is fully depressed the second step relay turns ON and the first step relay turns OFF.
