Troubleshooting

If you have any trouble with your phone
Try these simple steps first.
General problems
No handsets can
make or receive calls.
A handset can't make
or receive calls.
A handset won't ring.
A handset is not
working.
A handset says
SEARCHING.
There's a lot of noise
or static on the line.
Callers sound weak
or soft.
If you want to change the base PIN (default 0000)
Open the menu. Select
PIN and press
MENU/OK
If you want to add a new handset
Register the handset. If you see "UNREGISTERED" on the display, the
handset is ready to register.
Your base supports a total of 5 handsets, including any that were
supplied with your phone.
Possible solutions
Check the telephone cord connection.
Disconnect the base AC adapter. Wait a few
minutes, then reconnect it.
Make sure the base is plugged in.
Move the handset closer to the base.
Make sure the ringer is turned on.
Check the battery is fully charged.
Check the battery connection.
Re-register the handset to the base.
Move the handset closer to the base. The handset
may be at the edge of the base's range.
Move the handset or base away from the
interference sources; appliances (TVs,
computers, microwave ovens, etc.) or wireless
devices (headphones, room monitors,
controllers, WiFi equipment, etc.).
Move the handset closer to the base.
Keep the handset's battery fully charged.
Increase the earpiece volume.
ADVANCED SET
. Then enter the new PIN and press

CHANGE
PIN. Enter the current
MENU/OK
.
