Maintenance Regularly check and clean the leaf basket assembly to prevent the flow of water from decreasing. 1. Remove basket and dislodge debris. 2. Rinse, if neccessary, in a bucket of clean pond water. Avoid using tap water, chlorinated water, soaps or chemicals as this can kill the beneficial organisms living in the ecosystem and poison fish. -
