Cellular Communicator for
PIMA Intruder Alarm Systems
(Ver. 3.xx)

Overview

The GSM-200 is an integrated GSM communicator for PIMA alarm systems - the Hunter-Pro
Series, Captain 6 & 8
A reporting channel, main or backup for other channels;

Uploading & downloading data via the GPRS channel (using the Comax application);

For remote access and control, in the Hunter-Pro Series only;

The GSM-200 channels are: GPRS (encrypted), Voice & SMS (CSD is optional).

Content of the Product Package

GSM-200 module;

Quad-band antenna;

Wiring harness to the control panel;

Audio wires.


Safety instructions and restrictions

Do not install the SIM card under power;

The SIM card must support outgoing calls; support in outgoing SMS is recommended;

The GSM-200 must be connected to power to program it, i.e., connected to the control

panel with the harness.
Ver. 3.XX
Ver. 3.XX has two main changes:
The external power connector was removed. The module's power is solely supplied by the

control panel (via the wiring harness).
The functions of the Green LED have been modified. See the table on page 4.

