2.2 External GPRS Modem

The settings for dial-in number, user name and password depend on the provider. They
give you the data (in this concrete example we used A1 in Austria).
Ensure that „External Modem" is set in the section „Connection Type" and fill in the data
under "Provider connection" (picture 5).
Press „GPRS/GSM" to configure the GPRS Modem.
In addition to the data above you might also receive an „Init String" from your provider.
Enter it in the section "Modem". Moreover you have to enter the PIN of your SIM card,
which you also receive from your provider.
