- Page 4 Using the watch Hour hand Minute hand Crown 1. Opening the cover A crown (the small knob at the side of the watch) is placed at 3 o'clock direction. There is an opening on the watch cover at 6 o'clock position. Open the watch cover with your finger by lifting it from the opening.
