Operation

If you hold down the corresponding key when adjusting the time, the setting
is performed in fast-forward.
Count-up mode (Stopwatch mode)
• If necessary, reset the time display to 00:00 simultaneously pressing the M (3) and
S (4) keys.
• Press the button S/S (5) to start the count-up timer.
• Press the button S/S (5) again to stop the count-up timer or to start it again.
• After the timer has been stopped, the time display can be reset to 00:00 by simulta-
neously pressing the buttons M (3) and S (4) once more.
The maximum displayable time is 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
Count-down mode (Timer mode)
• Set the desired count-down time with the M (3) and S (4) keys:
Press M (3) to set the minutes and S (4) to set the seconds.
• Press the key S/S (5) to start the count-down timer.
• Press the S/S key (5) again to stop the count-down timer or to start it again.
• When the count-down time has reached the value 00:00, it will be heard a 30 sec-
onds long alarm signal.
• The previously set count-down time appears again in the display.

Maintenance and cleaning

The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for
any reason.
Please use a soft, dry, clean cloth for cleaning.
Clean the sensitive display surface carefully and do not scratch it.
Do not use any chemical cleansers; those can change the colour of the plastic of the
case.
Disposal
Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed
of in the household waste!
Dispose of the product at the end of its service life in accordance with the
applicable regulatory requirements.
Remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries that may be inserted and dis-
pose of them separately from the product.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Regulation) to return used batteries.
Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are la-
belled with the symbol shown to indicate that disposal in household waste
is forbidden. The symbols of the critical heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium,
Hg = mercury, Pb =l ead (marking can be seen on the battery/rechargeable
battery, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the left).
You can return your used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at
the official collection points of your community, in our stores, or at places
where batteries or rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
