Always follow safety recommendations and guidelines provided by the
manufacturer of your tools. When in doubt refer to the applicable owner's manual
or other instructions.
If using a folding stand make sure all legs are in contact with level ground or
floor and legs are extended until locked. Failure to do so could result in saw
movement or the collapse of the stand causing injury to the operator and/or
equipment.
Always keep hands clear of hinge, pinch and pivot points. Failure to do so
could result in serious injury or loss of fingers.
Be sure saw is bolted securely to the stand or bench. Failure to do so could
result in serious injury to self, and/or damage to equipment.
Always adjust material supports and rollers to level with the bed of the miter
saw. Failure to do so could result in kickback, causing serious injury to self,
and/or damage to saw and/or stand. Use a hold down stick or clamp to hold
small pieces securely or kickback could cause serious injury to self, and/or
damage to saw and/or stand.
