My shutter speed seems to be stuck at 1 second for any speed that isnt on Bulb. Even with the self timer setting it off.

The shutter speed being stuck at 1 second on a Yashica FX-DQUARTZ camera could be caused by issues with the shutter dial contact, shutter base plate, dirty shutter base plate, F.P.C. (flexible printed circuit), or the amplifier. These components should be checked to identify and fix the issue.
