    INTRODUCTION It is necessary to set up the appliance before operating by determining the correct grind required to create a perfect extraction. 1. An espresso grind is a very fine grind yet still granular. 2. Coffee loses its flavour rapidly once ground and therefore only grind as much as is needed for the espresso you are about to prepare.

    SETTING UP YOUR FAUSTINO Before operating the appliance it is necessary to fit the coffee bean container (7) and fit the portafilter holder fork (11). • Insert the bean container into its seat. Positioning it so that the holes line up with the container lock screw (13) on the back part of the appliance.

    EINLEITUNG Vor der Benutzung des Gerätes muss der richtige Mahlgrad eingestellt werden, damit eine perfekte Kaffee-Extraktion erzielt werden kann. 1. Unter Espresso-Mahlung versteht sich ein eher feines Mahlgut, das jedoch immer noch etwas körnige Komponenten hat. 2. Kaffee verliert nach der Mahlung sehr schnell seinen Geschmack. Daher nur so viel Kaffee mahlen, wie gebraucht wird.

    BEDIENUNGSANLEITUNG 1. Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose und schieben Sie den Schieber unter dem Bohnenbehälter ein. 2. Füllen Sie die Kaffeebohnen in den Trichter. 3. Der Kaffee wird gemahlen und fällt in den Siebträger. • Nach erfolgter Mahlung geht die Einstellung direkt wieder von Null auf die eingestellte Mahlzeit zurück.

    FUNKTIONS-BLOCKIERUNG Wenn die Taster (2) und (4) gleichzeitig gedrückt und wieder losgelassen werden, werden alle Funktionen blockiert, ausgenommen der Portionswahl und des Mahlstarts. Auf dem Display erscheint das Symbol für Funktions-Blockierung (18). Die Funktions-Blockierung wird durch erneutes gleichzeitiges Drücken und Loslassen der beiden Taster und (4) wieder aufgehoben.

    REINIGUNG UND INSTANDHALTUNG Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Reinigungs- oder Instandhaltungsarbeiten vorgenommen werden.
