I. Operation
1. Insert 4xAA batteries into the battery compartment as shown in FIG.I.
2. Place the front, right piano leg (See FIG.II) into the rectangular hole of the hat rack. Then insert the pin to lock the rack.
3. Switch to "NORMAL MODE" and switch on the unit by turning the volume control (See FIG.III). "DEMO MODE" is for in-store display.
4. Item is presence activated. Approach the front to activate the presence activation sensor (See FIG.IV) and Teddy will move and ask you for a song selection.
5. Place a hat on Teddy's head after the head has turned and is facing the front of the piano (See FIG.IV). The unit will start to play. The unit will go in "sleep mode" if
you do not put a hat on Teddy's head within 3 seconds. In case this happens, approach the front of the unit to re-activate.
IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO SWITCH HATS DURING A SONG.
6. After the song is over, you will have the opportunity to place a new hat on Teddy's head. If you do not place a new hat on Teddy's head, the unit will play up to 5 or
more additional songs randomly depending on the hat.
7. After the random songs finish playing, place a new hat on teddy's head to hear more music, otherwise the unit will go into "Sleep Mode". If this happens, approach
the front of the unit to re-activate.
8. To hear more music, place a new hat on Teddy's head.
9. Turn the volume control to adjust the volume of the music.
NOTE: WHEN THE VOLUME CONTROL IS AT ITS MINIMUM SETTING, NO MUSIC CAN BE HEARD.
II. Trouble shooting
Your TEDDY TAKES REQUESTS has been designed to give many seasons of trouble-free operation. In the event that a problem does occur, please refer to the
following chart for suggested solutions.
Problem
No music, or motion.
Music is playing but Teddy does not turn.
Music too loud or too soft, or no music.
No Music.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Solution
Make sure there are batteries in the unit and they are correctly installed.
Turn the power off and then back on.
Adjust volume control.
Place new hat on Teddy's head. If there's a hat already on Teddy's head,
approach the front of the unit to re-activate.
